Somewhere there is info on the different series of Yanmars. For example the prefix for greymarket tractors. The prefix for aftermarket. I notice most web sites just list the YM Series, the F Series and so on. What is the difference and how can you tell a gray market from a after market, if that is the right way to ask the question. I bought a reconditioned F17 according to the decal on the cawling. After I put 103hrs on it I was told it was a FX17D. Meaning a Yanmar with a powershift and 4WD and that is what it has. I need to buy manuals and I want to make sure I am getting the right info. Any help, thanks.
